Breakwater from the comfort of your sofa

Updated: Nov 18, 2023

Breakwater Theatre Company with Benjamin Peel are proud to announce their project Yesteryear Plays which has been commissioned by SOfa Fest 2020, part of SO Festival which is supported by Arts Council England, East Lindsey District Council, Passage Festival, Helsingør Teater, and Without Walls.

BTC will be producing a series of audio plays written by Benjamin Peel. The Yesteryears Plays all relate to events in and around the history of Skegness and will feature a cast of familiar Breakwater performers augmented by Edward Peel, Stacey Gough and Niki Felstead along with a few new junior performers making their professional debuts.

The plays will be directed by Sara Beasley and will be made available online as part of Magna Vitae's SOfa Festival from August.
