Creative Writing Workshops

 

Having worked for over 30 years in the classroom, Andy can visit you and offer a number of workshops to students at different levels. Workshops encouraging creative writing, about crafting a complete story, writing dialogue, monologues, increasing dramatic tension and writing for emotional impact can all be offered on a half day or whole day basis. Performing Arts Workshops

Andy is available to come to you to run performing arts workshops that can cover drama, comedy, musical theatre and mask work.



Bespoke Commissions

As a member of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Andy is available to write specifically to commission for your school, college, youth group, prison or theatre company on any subject of your choosing at rates agreed by the Independent Theatre Council and The WGGB. These rates are non-negotiable.



Personal Script Advice

Andy is available to offer one to one support for aspiring writers. You supply the writing and I will respond to you. I will give you feedback and ideas on a personal basis. I will supply written feedback with no summary of your writing included. This feedback will suggest ways in which you can move your work forward and ask you to consider some fresh suggestions.



Private Tuition



I am also available for hire on an hourly basis, to provide personal tuition in creative writing, or scriptwriting for the stage, radio TV or film. Please use the contact form on this site to enquire about rates per hour



Creative Writing Courses



I will be running creative writing courses locally which will run weekly .  for three months or six months. Groups will be based on experience and may require that you submit an example of your writing to gain a place. Contact me for details.
