About Kazbah Theatre

Thoughts. Experiences. Inspiration.

Kazbah Theatre is an emerging theatre company based in North East Lincolnshire in the UK. The aim is to create a professional theatre company making work for children and family audiences that can become self-sustaining, and give the children of Cleethorpes and surrounding areas their first taste of theatre. We want to expose them to worlds of wonder and entertainment. Key to our mission is working with, and building upon the National Curriculum using plays and stories to enthuse children to read more, and to learn in new and exciting ways.

The company name is inspired by the name given to an area of Grimsby Docks, which is currently enjoying a renaissance but is also a name that conjures up images of magical storytelling - such as the tales of the Arabian Nights.

Join us on our journey as we seek to build a new theatrical experience for the children and families of North East Lincolnshire.
