Baron Erdbeere's Big Fang Theory

ree

Kazbah Theatre is currently working to develop a brand-new show for all the family - Baron Erdbeere's Big Fang Theory. The show featuring comedy, music and audience interaction is aimed at audiences 5+ and will be available for performances from the end of October 2025.

Baron Erdbeere may look and sound like traditional vampire, but he differs in one significant respect... the Baron is descended from a long line of fruit bats NOT vampire bats. He roams the streets at night in search of fresh fruit. But wherever he goes, he is met by a harsh welcome as angry mobs armed with torches and pitchforks seek to drive him away because he is unlike ordinary men.

The Baron has the power to turn into a bat but uses the power sparingly because it freaks people out. In his anguish, Baron Erdbeere has devised a theory that he wishes to put to the test - a Big Fang Theory. The show features a selection of original songs and some very silly stories as the Baron tries to persuade children to accept people who may seem different, whilst also encouraging them to keep a strict eye on their diet and to eat five portions of fruit and veg a day.

Previews of the show will take place in Sutton on Sea and Cleethorpes in time for Halloween and some activity sheets will be available to all for free in person or via the website. The show will be fully available to tour during 2026 - email us for details if you are interested in booking the show.
