Cap'n Fishcake on Film

Kazbah Theatre's first project of the year took place on Tuesday 16 January as the cast of our first show "Cap'n Fishcake and His Fabulous Fish Fingers" regathered at our base to film the show for posterity and for marketing purposes. Cleethorpes-based filmmaker Alex Thompson came in to lend his experience, equipment and vast supplies of patience to the project as the cast performed the show for video. This film will enable Kazbah Theatre to apply for work, further afield, by demonstrating what they do and how they do it.

Directed by Artistic Director Andy Evans, the original cast were reunited and filmed by Alex Thompson. Molly Charnley reprised the role of Cap'n Fishcake and worked with Salty the Sea Dog. Alice Murray appeared as Crewmember A operating Fry the fishfinger, the seagull, a whale and Professor Octopus. Samuel Pearson repeats his performance as Crewmember S and operates Bake and Grill, along with AC Turtle, a small whale and a concerned fish!

The film will not, sadly, be available for general consumption, merely for Kazbah's marketing purposes though I am sure we will post some clips for public enjoyment.
