Following a successful premiere at the Albert Room in Cleethorpes, Kazbah Theatre's latest show Cirque du Pierre is now available to tour.
This show was described by audience members as "Charming", "Fantastical", and "Magical". It is a 45-minute show set in a circus with a non-verbal story following the antics of a shaggy dog who has sneaked into the venue where a circus is being staged. Pierre the Pierrot is one of the stars of the show, and he develops a bond with the dog throughout. Meanwhile, we see a wide variety of acts from tightrope walkers, clowns, a lion tamer who lacks a lion, a unicyclist, a globe walker and others.
The show features music and magical movement and is aimed at audiences of every age. It is NOT exclusively for children but is suitable for non-English speakers, those with hearing difficulties and anyone who struggles to follow dialogue ordinarily. The show requires six puppeteers a director and a technician and brings an easily staged set to perform on table tops making it accessible for all.
