We at Kazbah are especially grateful to the members of Cleethorpes Rock, a community choir led by Nic Reed and based at Signhills School in Cleethorpes.
Cleethorpes Rock is a community choir that meets up every Thursday evening and sing simply because the members enjoy it. There is no pressure to perform concerts, it is all about having fun, being sociable and being with, and around, other like-minded people who love music. Members of the choir often make charitable donations to worthy causes in the area as a way of giving back to the community that they love.
Kazbah Theatre is particularly grateful to have received a donation from the choir this week to help us purchase some new equipment for the company. As a result of a donation by the choir and another by a private individual, Kazbah has purchased a small, walled gazebo to use in it's outdoor performances and two large folding benches to provide seating during the shows, with two more smaller benches also being purchased this week as a result too.
The first of the benches have arrived and we await the delivery of our gazebo and other benches and will arrange a photo shoot when everything has arrived to share our good fortune and to extol the generosity of the members of Cleethorpes Rock who are wonderful community champions that we are proud to call our friends.
